Under this section you may claim for any accident damage to the craft, or if it is stolen. You may also claim for the damage you caused to other parties and their property.
You will only have cover if the craft is solely used for social, domestic or pleasure purposes only.
Budget’s Watercraft cover includes:
- comprehensive cover for theft or damage
- salvage charges incurred while preventing further loss or damage to craft
- finding the craft after it became stranded, collided with or sank
- repatriation: the cost to salvage and to deliver the craft to the nearest border post of South Africa
- medical costs up to R2 000 per incident, if the craft is in an accident or sinks or anyone is injured
- damage you caused to other parties' property
